U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

NEW YORK, NY, January 31, 2011 — For the third consecutive year, Aurant has been selected for the 2011 Best of Salt Lake City Award in the Home Entertainment Repair Services category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Nationwide, only 1 in 120 (less than 1%) 2011 Award recipients qualified as Three-Time Award Winners. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Aurant Receives Electronic Lifestyles® Designer Award from International Trade Association

Salt Lake City, Utah October 4, 2010 — The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has honored Aurant for excellence in the design and installation of electronic systems. CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles® Designer Awards are considered the most prestigious awards program in residential electronic systems industry.

Work submitted for the Electronic Lifestyles® Designer Awards is completed in consumer homes around the world in the following categories: home theaters, integrated homes, media rooms, hidden installations and more.

Winners were selected by two qualified panels which evaluated submissions based on both the technical merits and the design/aesthetics. The technical panel consisted of five CEDIA residential electronic systems contractor members and the design panel included members from the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Interior Designers.

The winning project submitted by Aurant is published in the CEDIA 2010 Idea Book with color images and essay explanations of the project’s challenges and products used. Aurant Awarded Gold and Silver in 2010 CEDIA Industry Professional Awards

SALT LAKE CITY—September 30, 2010—Consumer Electronics Design Industry Awards (CEDIA) in Atlanta. CEDIA recognizes the best of the best in the residential electronic systems industry.

Aurant was awarded the gold award for fully integrating a 12,000 square foot home in Deer Valley with accommodations for more than two dozen guests, creating a comfortable yet impressive atmosphere.

Notable features used for this project includes:

• Distributed video with 14 Kaleidescape and Vudu sources
• 4 HD Cable boxes (for backup should satellite go down)
• A dedicated DirecTV HDDVR to each of the 25 TVs
• 2 Surround Systems for a 20 seat theater
• 24 zones of distributed audio with eleven accessible sources
• 5 iPod docks, 3 hard drives, 2-XM tuners, FM radio
• 18 phones with integration to door strikes and doorbell/intercoms
• A weather station
• Five 6” touch panels
• Three 15” global touch panels controlling HVAC zones, Lutron lighting, motorized shades, fireplaces, fans, radiant heat zones, an indoor spa, wine cellar, steam room, snow melt, security and an elevator.

For the silver award, Aurant transformed an eclectic downtown luxury lift with seamless integration of all electronic subsystems but with a special emphasis on integrating the owner’s uniquely progressive lifestyle.
